The LGBTQ community has been fighting for their rights for a long time. They have faced discrimination, violence, and even death threats. But they have also won many victories in the past and present.

In the past, LGBTQ people were denied many basic human rights. They were not allowed to marry or adopt children, they could not serve in the military, and they could be fired from jobs without any legal recourse.

LGBTQ people are now allowed to marry and adopt children in all 50 states. They are allowed to serve openly in the military with no fear of being discharged because of their sexual orientation. And there is legal recourse if someone is fired because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Pride is the celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. It’s a celebration of diversity and acceptance. There are many places in the U.S where one can celebrate pride and make it a memorable experience for themselves.
