Glitz or glam or glitter
Sparkle twinkle or shimmer
There is a romantic appeal
Whether on silk or stiletto heal
A sky full of stars that twinkle above
Reminiscent of courtly love
There certainly is attraction and appeal
Even when the occasion seems surreal
Glitter captivates imagination and delight
Adding something special, it’s a wonderful sight
That little sparkle of candlelight
Adding pizzas, truly a highlight
Of a special dinner with a significant other
Or with family on occasions enjoying one another
